If you buy into a nice diving watch, but do not want to buy the usual Tag Heuer, Rolex or Seconda, maybe you should consider a Panerai clock. What follows is a review of the Panerai watches – see especially the men Panerai Contemporary, that has my wife.
Panerai have a longstanding reputation for the manufacture of diving watches of exceptional quality, the company was founded in Florence in 1860 and in 1900 the official supplier of the Italian Navy and wasin 1938, began supplying the Italian Navy with Panerai Radiomir wristwatches for divers. Panerai watches is a navigational tree to make good as any other watchmaker.
Despite the name, is the Panerai Historic Collection of contemporary styling. Within this collection are the Panerai Luminor Base Panerai Luminor Marina Panerai Luminor. The watches are hand-wound mechanical caliber Panerai OP XI with swan neck regulator. The power reserve for all Clocks in the collection is 56 hours – amazing for a clock with manual winding. The housing and bezel come in either stainless steel or titanium, with the glass sapphire, formed of corundum, 3.5 mm thick and with anti-reflective coating. The watches are water resistant to 300 meters. What is really beautiful on the Historical Panerai watches, that the back is see-through sapphire crystal. Both the Marina and Radiomir are with chronograph mechanisms. Finally, allCome> Panerai Watches in the Historic Collection with leather or alligator strap remember – when diving watches come with oiled leather strap. My favorite watch in this collection is the Panerai Marina. I love the small second at the nine-clock position.
The Panerai Contemporary Collection is excellent, and in my opinion, the Luminor Submersible is the jewel in the crown, my wife owns one of them – more in the moment. The Luminor Marina Automatic comes with steel,Titanium or steel housing. The movement is automatic, so that no winding up, but you do not loose on the power reserve – 42 hours. The back is not see-through like the Panerai Historic. What are the historical, contemporary Marina, the Marina Collection comes with a second hand on the ninth position. But beyond that there is a date display at position three. A small point, but the date window is round and not that the usual rectangle, a really nice feature. The Marina Watchwith leather, crocodile or steel tape. The Luminor GMT is very similar to the Marina, except that you will receive an additional time zone, hand on the nine-position – the second hand is the more conventional type.
But my favorite of Clock Panerai Luminor Submersible is the contemporary of the collection. The Panerai Luminor Submersible is a real diving watch. The default is water resistant to 300 meters, but a special model is water resistant to meters and comes 100oequipped with a helium valve for decompression on the left side of the housing. To see my wife is the Luminor Submersible PAM 00025th The housing is made of brushed titanium, the face is black with Paris shoe nails decoration – very striking, and the black rubber strap with PANERAI personalized steel buckle. The clock is supplied with a steel screwdriver and a second interchangeable strap fit diving. If you are the ultimate diver then look at the Panerai Luminor Submersible is theto buy one.
One final note: No matter what you buy Panerai watch, each comes with an arm lock winding crown, which is a registered trademark of Panerai Panerai Clock and he gives a very pronounced. Panerai watches are good quality, look and feel, modern and Industry – watches everything you can throw at them to resist. In my opinion, a Panerai Clock is a better value for money than a Rolex over-priced. There is a clock for the connoisseur and not for those who followthe crowd.
